Waipu Primary School – OSCAR Supervisor Vacancy

We have a vacancy for the Supervisor’s role at our lovely after school care programme (OSCAR). 

Hours of work are 2:00pm until 5:30pm Monday to Friday term time only.
Pay rate to be discussed relative to skills and experience.
This position starts at the beginning of Week 3, Term 2 – Monday the 12th of May 2025.

• Wednesday 16th April: Position vacancy advertised on the WPS Facebook Page & website. 
• Friday 25th April: Applications close, 5pm. 
• Monday 28th April: Shortlisting.
• Tuesday 29th April: Referees contacted. 
• Wednesday 30th April: Interviewing. 
• Thursday 1st May: Successful candidate notified. 
• Monday 12th May: Position commences.

 

OSCAR Afterschool Care

Our afterschool care programme runs Monday to Friday from 2.30pm until 5:30pm.

The cost is $11.50 per day pick up before 4pm – or $13 Casual.

$15.50 per day pick up after 4pm or $17 Casual.

We are OSCAR accredited so WINZ child care subsidies are available through Work and Income.
